Mariah Carey was born in Huntington, New York. Her father, Alfred Roy Carey, was of African American and Afro-Venezuelan descent, while her mother, Patricia (née Hickey), is of Irish American descent. According to Mariah, her maternal grandparents were "from Ireland".

The Miss World Canada contest is a Beauty pageant, held annually in different incarnations since 1957 to select Canada's representative to the Miss World contest. In 2017 MTC-W Inc. obtained the exclusive rights to send the Canadian representative to Miss World, chaired by former Miss World Canada 1996 Michelle Weswaldi. The annual pageant is held each summer in Toronto, Ontario.

Ali Pourtash Get Married
Ali Pourtash is an actor and comedian of cinema. Having worked in numerous plays, films, TV shows and stage productions in Tehran and in Los Angeles Pourtash was most recently seen in the 2008 film The Stoning of Soraya M. directed by Cyrus Nowrasteh. Other notable roles include the role of Haji firouz, the comedic side-kick to Amoo norooz in the classic holiday special Babak and Friends – A First Norooz.

Bjorlin's family moved to her father's native country of Sweden while she was still an infant. She has described her childhood as "wonderful" with "loving parents and siblings to lean on", although Bjorlin recalls being "oblivious" to racial tensions going on in Sweden.

She graduated in natural science in high school. After graduation, one of her relatives who was the Theater Affairs Assistant in "Soureh" college introduced her to "Hannaneh" Art institute. Having studied video edition in the following years, she participated in assembly job of "Ketāb-e Avval" training materials, directed by Dariush Mehrjui.
